2027 participant waiver.

01Event scope and independent status

This is an independently operated SOLO Soccer event. Registration is directly with SOLO Soccer; it is not a DKSC or club/team event. The Event consists of a three-day beach soccer camp Tuesday through Thursday at Little Elm Beach or a similar nearby beach facility designated by SOLO Soccer, followed by SOLO coaching and team participation in a two-day beach soccer tournament Saturday and Sunday in Galveston. The expected schedule is either May 25-30 or June 1-6, 2027. SOLO Soccer will provide the confirmed dates and venues after the independent tournament organizer announces them. If the Event's scope changes materially from this description, SOLO Soccer will request updated consent.

The Galveston tournament, its venue, and their personnel are operated independently from SOLO Soccer. This agreement releases only the SOLO Soccer Released Parties identified below. It does not release the tournament organizer, a facility owner, or another third party, and it does not replace any separate form those parties may require.

02Participant fitness, rules, and equipment

I confirm that the Participant is physically able to take part in youth soccer activities, or I have disclosed any limitation that could affect safe participation. I will provide accurate emergency and medical information, and I will instruct the Participant to follow coach, facility, weather, hydration, and tournament safety directions and to stop and report pain, dizziness, illness, or injury.

Sand socks are not included with registration and will not be provided by SOLO Soccer. I am responsible for any permitted footwear or protective equipment, subject to final facility and tournament rules. I understand that no footwear or protective equipment eliminates all risk.

03Acknowledgment and assumption of risk

I understand that soccer, beach soccer, training, and related team activities involve inherent and other risks, both known and unknown. Risks include running, jumping, kicking, diving, falls, player contact, contact with balls, goals, or other equipment; unstable or hot sand; shells, debris, uneven surfaces, cuts, burns, blisters, sprains, strains, fractures, dental injuries, concussions, and other head injuries; exertion, dehydration, heat illness, sun exposure, severe or changing weather; proximity to water, saltwater, marine life, insects, allergens, communicable illness, and the acts or omissions of other participants or spectators. Serious injury, permanent disability, or death is possible even when reasonable care and safety rules are used.

With knowledge of these risks, I voluntarily choose to allow the Participant to take part in the Event and accept the risks inherent in and reasonably related to that participation.

04Release of ordinary-negligence claims

NOTICE: THIS AGREEMENT AFFECTS LEGAL RIGHTS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY TEXAS LAW, IT RELEASES THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM CLAIMS, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON THEIR OWN ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE, ARISING FROM THE PARTICIPANT'S INVOLVEMENT IN THE EVENT. READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING.

In consideration for the Participant being allowed to take part in the Event, I, for myself and for my heirs, estate, representatives, and assigns, release and discharge Dot Win LLC d/b/a SOLO Soccer, Skylar Webber, Shelby Webber, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, coaches, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively, the Released Parties) from claims, demands, causes of action, losses, liabilities, or damages for personal injury, illness, death, or property damage arising out of or related to the Participant's involvement in the Event, INCLUDING WHEN CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF A RELEASED PARTY.

I sign this release for my own claims and, only to the extent permitted by Texas law, on behalf of the Participant. This release does not apply to gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, intentional acts, or any right or claim that cannot lawfully be released.

05Emergency medical authorization

If I cannot be contacted, I authorize an adult SOLO Soccer staff member who has actual care, control, or possession of the Participant during the Event to provide reasonable first aid within that person's training, contact emergency services, arrange emergency transportation, and consent to examination or treatment recommended by a licensed medical provider. I authorize SOLO Soccer to share the emergency and medical information I provide with emergency responders or treating providers when reasonably necessary for care.

This authorization applies only during the confirmed 2027 Event window described above, from first camp check-in through the conclusion of SOLO's Sunday tournament activities. Because the final start date is pending, SOLO Soccer will ask me to reconfirm the medical authorization after dates and venues are announced. I understand that SOLO Soccer staff are not acting as medical providers and that this authorization does not permit care beyond a staff member's training. I remain responsible for medical, ambulance, and related costs not covered by my insurance.

06Family travel and lodging

Families are responsible for Friday travel to Galveston, transportation to and from all camp and tournament activities, and their own lodging. SOLO Soccer does not provide or supervise a van, shuttle, family carpool, hotel, or beach-house transportation or accommodations for this Event. SOLO Soccer may share optional lodging information or a hotel-block opportunity, but each family books and supervises its own travel and accommodations. Family travel and lodging are outside the Event covered by this agreement.

07Optional media choice

My media choice is separate from this liability release. Declining media permission will not affect the Participant's eligibility, coaching, team placement, or participation in the Event.

If I grant permission, I authorize SOLO Soccer to record and use the Participant's first name, image, voice, and athletic performance from the Event for player feedback, highlight or recruiting profiles, SOLO Soccer websites and social media, and SOLO Soccer promotional materials, without compensation. SOLO Soccer will not sell the Participant's likeness. I may revoke this permission prospectively by written notice through mysolo.life/contact. Revocation cannot undo uses made before notice, but SOLO Soccer will stop new uses and make reasonable efforts to remove content it controls.

If I decline permission, SOLO Soccer will make reasonable efforts not to feature the Participant in public or recruiting materials. I understand that the Participant may still appear incidentally in wide team, crowd, or game footage at a public tournament, or in media created by the independent organizer or other third parties outside SOLO Soccer's control.

08Texas law, severability, and electronic signature

Texas law governs this agreement. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to the fullest extent permitted by law. I acknowledge that I had the opportunity to read this agreement, ask questions, and choose whether the Participant takes part.

By selecting the electronic-record acknowledgments and typing my full legal name, I agree to conduct this transaction electronically and intend my typed name to be my electronic signature. I may request a paper process through mysolo.life/contact before signing online.
